ISAAP: INTERNATIONAL SERVICED ACCOMMODATION ACCREDITATION PROCESS

Our Challenge

  • Providers of serviced accommodation need to be able to offer reassurance to clients and guests that they can book and stay with the confidence that all the necessary elements of safety, hygiene, security and quality have been verified.

  • In 2021 the ISO 31031 Travel Risk Management standard was published, and this requires corporate buyers and travel managers to demonstrate that they have met these requirements by selecting accommodation providers that have been verified as satisfying the standard.

  • In the UK, government licensing and registration requirements are in consultation stage and will challenge the sector to raise and promote accommodation standards.

The Solution

  • ISAAP is the recognised and respected accreditation body for the industry
  • With an ISAAP accreditation or certification, a bridge of trust and confidence is established between the accommodation provider and the customer.
  • The ISAAP accreditation seal or certification badge provides reassurance of accommodation safety, cleanliness, security and quality to the consumer.
  • ISAAP’s schemes are aligned to the recommendations made by the ISO 31030 standard.
  • ISAAP has developed a new digital product that simplifies how accreditation status is gathered, viewed and promoted, using secure and scalable technology to support providers.
